🌟 Year 4 have had another fantastic week! 🌟

It has been another busy and exciting week in Year 4, with lots of wonderful learning taking place!

📚 English
In English, we have been thoroughly enjoying reading A Series of Unfortunate Events. The children have also been developing their descriptive writing skills by creating an imaginative
underwater setting. We have focused on choosing effective adjectives and using similes to help our readers picture the scene clearly. There have been some wonderfully creative ideas!

🔢 Maths
In Maths, we have been exploring
4-digit numbers. The children have been developing their understanding of place value and becoming more confident when reading, writing and working with larger numbers. They have shown great determination when tackling new challenges.

🌳 Forest School
Our
Forest School sessions continue to be a real highlight! The children have loved spending time outdoors, working together and getting creative. We have made our own woodland sprites, built some fantastic dens and learned how to safely build a fire. Of course, sitting together and enjoying a delicious hot chocolate was a particularly popular part of the session!

We are incredibly proud of the enthusiasm, creativity and teamwork Year 4 have shown. Well done, everyone! 🌟
